FASHION WEEK’S HOTTEST POP UP RESTAURANT “GOODNESS” RETURNS FOR THE 2012 SEASON WITH THE CFDA’S HEALTH INITIATIVE STAMP OF APPROVAL

What: On February 11th – 14th 2012, supermodel Elettra Weidemann is proud to announce the return of GOODNESS, a full service pop-up restaurant at ROBERT atop Museum of Arts and Design just a stroll from Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week. This season teaming up with a newline up of daily changing notable chefs; Mario Batali (Babbo), Alain Allegretti (La Promenade des Anglais), Julian Medina (Toloache) and Leo Forneas (ROBERT). GOODNESS will be open for lunch from 11am – 3pm to provide healthy and delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. GOODNESS will serve locally-sourced, healthy food prepared by the city’s hottest chefs. This season GOODNESS has earned the stamp of approval from the CFDA’s Health Initiative, making it the go-to destination for health-conscious models, designers and industry insiders.  

                GOODNESS will also present the GOODNESS Lounge by Renaissance Hotels on the 7th floor of the Museum of Arts and Design. Designed as a comfortable “living room” for reporters, models and editors to relax and recharge, the GOODNESS Lounge by Renaissance Hotels will feature a touch-up station from beauty sponsor Lancôme, Wi-Fi connections for the busy fashionista and resident DJ Travisty providing soundtrack of lounge music and modern remixes for the fashion elite. CIRCA, the world’s leading global buyer of fine jewelry, will also showcase their collection of recycled, sustainable luxury jewelry in the lounge, offering attendees access to their latest collection of antique and contemporary collectible gems.

Why:  After Elettra completed her dissertation at the London School of Economics on the future of feeding urban populations, she was inspired to create GOODNESS and provide delicious, stylish and healthy meals during Fashion Week. The first in a series of global pop-up restaurants, GOODNESS will also make an appearance at future Paris, Milan and London Fashion Weeks.
